Candles can be a serious fire hazard if not used properly.
the following tips are to help minimize your risk when burning candles in your home.
- always burn your candle on a stable and heat-resistant surface.
- never leave your candle unattended.
- burn candles away from things that can catch fire.
- burn candles in a well ventilated area.
- keep out of reach of children or pets.
- don't move from surface to surface while lit.
Wooden Wick Care
trimming your wooden wick regularly will extend the life of your candle. A largeflame will use more wax.
- trim your wooden wick to 5mm at all times - trim before every use for best practice.
- if the wick is too long, the wax will not pull up the wick and could extinguish, creating ashy ends - Large wick could also let off soot.
- gently snap off the ash or burnt wood along the top edge of the wick with your fingers and dispose, then light as usual.

Cotton Wick Care
- keep your cotton wick trimmed to 4-5mm at all times - trim before every use for best practice.
- we only use lead-free cotton wick.
Every time you lit, let it Pool
- candles has a memory, burn your 8oz candle for at least 2hrs at the first time. Less time for smaller candles.
- each time you lit your candle, let the candle burn until the wax melts across the entire surface area, this will avoid tunnelling.
- lit your candle up to a maximum of three hours at a time. do not exceed 3-4hrs each time for a better experience.
Storage
- keep your candles in a cool dry location.
- shelf life - up to 2 years
It’s time for another candle!
- when only 1/2” of wax remains in your candle jar, it’s time to say goodbye and get another candle.
- wick clips are set to a specific safety height to keep the flame 1/2 inch from the bottom of the glass. It is completely normal to have wax left over in the bottom of your candle.
